Log weight and edit your goal weight

A weigh-in records what the scale measured. A goal weight is the number your plan aims to reach. They are separate: changing your goal does not add a weigh-in or correct an existing measurement.

Log or correct a weigh-in

iPhone or Android: open Log Weight and tap the weight number to enter an exact value. The field accepts a decimal point or comma, with up to two decimal places in kg or one in lb. Review the unit and date, then save.

To correct an existing manual measurement, open More → Weight History, open the entry and choose ⋯ → Edit. Change its weight and save. Adding another entry creates a separate measurement. For imported measurements, use the actions available for their source; a locked weight must be corrected in the source app.

Web: choose Weight in the logging flow to add a weigh-in, or open Progress → Weight to inspect and edit an existing entry. Review its unit and date before saving.

Choose weight during Android setup

During initial account setup on Android, tap Weight or Goal Weight. In the bottom panel, scroll the Whole number and Tenths wheels to choose a value such as 78.8 kg. Both kg and lb support one decimal place in this picker.

Let the wheels stop, then tap Done to close the panel and continue setup. A selection updates the setup form; opening or closing the panel without making a selection does not change the value. Check the displayed unit before choosing.

Enter an exact goal weight on Android

  1. Open More → Fitness Goals and choose a goal that uses a lower or higher scale weight.
  2. Tap the number under Target Weight to type an exact value, or slide it to adjust. Both 72.34 and 72,34 mean the same decimal value. You can type up to two decimal places in kg or one in lb.
  3. Review the weekly pace and estimated duration. Changing the target keeps your selected weekly pace and recalculates the duration.
  4. Choose Save and wait for confirmation. Closing the editor without saving leaves your saved plan unchanged.

An empty, incomplete or out-of-range entry cannot be saved. Follow the validation message beside the field and review any plan warning.

Enter an exact goal weight on the web

  1. Sign in to the web app and open Targets → Goal.
  2. Choose a goal that uses a lower or higher scale weight.
  3. Enter Target weight in the unit shown. Both 72.3 and 72,3 mean the same decimal value. You can enter up to two decimal places in kg or one in lb.
  4. Review the weekly pace and estimated duration. Changing the target keeps your selected weekly pace and recalculates the duration.
  5. Choose Save and wait for confirmation. Discard changes restores the saved plan.

An empty or invalid entry cannot be saved. Follow the range or validation message beside the field. If your latest weight or height is missing, review it using the links provided before setting a target.

Units and existing values

Opening the Android or web goal editor, discarding an edit or changing display units does not round the saved weight. A valid existing value between the normal input increments is retained until you deliberately choose a different weight. The unit shown tells you how to read and enter the number.

Saving a goal updates your account's plan and may offer a review of your daily nutrition targets. It does not rewrite weight-history measurements. Review any proposed nutrition changes before applying them.

Goals on other devices

iPhone: open More → Fitness Goals to review and change your plan. Initial account setup takes place in the mobile app on iPhone or Android. The web signs in an existing account.

Apple Watch: manage goal weight on your phone or the web; the Watch does not provide a goal-weight editor.

Maintain-weight and body-recomposition plans do not use a scale-weight destination. To set a lower or higher target weight, choose the corresponding weight-loss or muscle-gain goal.

If a change will not save

Check that the number is complete, uses only one decimal separator and fits the displayed range. Review any plan warning, and check your connection if a save fails. A value has not been saved until PlateLens confirms it; after a failure, keep the editor open and retry.
