CAVA calorie calculator: build your bowl, see the macros
This CAVA calorie calculator adds the US guide’s published ingredient values for a bowl or pita, including protein, dips, toppings, dressing and a drink. Calories and nutrients equal the sum of the chosen standard servings. A mixed greens-and-grains base uses half of each row as an explicitly derived estimate; published signature meals can instead be selected as complete recipes.
Result breakdown
| Item and servings | Calories (kcal) | Protein (g) | Carbs (g) | Fat (g) | Saturated fat (g) | Sodium (mg) | Fiber (g) | Sugars (g) |
|---|
Values recalculate as you change the options. Form selections are not sent or stored; the math runs in your browser.
CAVA publishes no gram or ounce weights for food servings. Totals describe standard restaurant portions and can vary with preparation and region. Half portions are mathematical estimates, not published rows. A signature bowl replaces the ingredient build; adding both would count the meal twice.
How the calculation works
Total nutrient = Σ (published ingredient value × selected fraction). A full serving uses ×1; a mixed greens-and-grains base uses ×0.5 for each component. That half-base interpretation is derived from CAVA’s published menu ranges, not a separately measured row. A pita adds the Whole Pita row, 320 kcal. Choosing a signature meal uses its complete published row instead of summing its presumed ingredients. Calories are kcal; nutrient masses use g or mg as labelled.

Limits of the estimate
Dips here are the in-bowl servings. Larger side dips have published calories but no complete macros and are not substituted for the smaller rows. Shrimp has no nutrition row and is omitted. Kids’ meals are excluded. California lemonade and regional desserts stay separately labelled. Fountain drinks are published without ice. Half-protein options are not offered as published measurements.

Frequently asked questions
How are greens and grains counted in a CAVA bowl?
A greens-and-grains base uses half of the selected greens row plus half of the selected grains row. This is a derived interpretation of CAVA’s published build-your-own calorie ranges, not a separate nutrition measurement. The calculator labels that estimate and keeps the full ingredient values in the table so the assumption can be checked directly.
Are CAVA dips in the bowl the same as side dips?
No. The nutrition guide’s dip rows describe the in-bowl servings. CAVA’s menu lists larger side-dip portions with calories but without a complete nutrient breakdown. This calculator uses the in-bowl rows for dips and does not invent protein, fat or carbohydrates for the larger sides. Food serving weights are not published in CAVA’s nutrition guide.
Where does the CAVA calculator get its nutrition data?
The values come from CAVA’s own published United States nutrition information, retrieved on September 7, 2026. This page identifies the chart revision or retrieval stamp and links to the primary source. Tables preserve the published values and portion descriptions; missing figures are never filled in with another chain’s numbers or an invented ingredient estimate.
Are the calories exact for my CAVA order?
The calculator uses CAVA’s reference values for standard United States recipes and portions. Actual serving quantity, preparation, ingredient supply and location can change the food you receive. The total helps explain the published order but does not measure the meal in front of you or replace individualized advice from a qualified health professional.
Does the calculator store my choices or require an account?
No account is needed to use this calculator. Form selections and nutrition arithmetic stay in your browser and are not sent or saved as meal records. Reloading the page resets the order. The reference tables remain available without interacting with the form, so every published row and its stated portion can also be read directly.
